As planes remained grounded, hundreds of Hen and Stag organisers across the UK were frantically trying to rescue their all important pre-nup celebrations last weekend, which resulted in a significant increase of Hen and Stag Party bookings being made at Newbury Racecourse to their fixture on Saturday 17 April.

Experience Newbury, this weekend
Friday 26th and Saturday 27th March will see the final Jump racing fixture of the season at Newbury Racecourse. To end the season in style, Saturday’s fixture will comprise seven impressive Jump races, featuring the EBF Mares Hurdle and Chase Finals; races restricted to female horses over the age of four years old.
Adding to the action-packed day, the fixture will provide racegoers with the opportunity to go behind the scenes with its ‘Experience Newbury Day’.

Denman in Star Cast Line up at Newbury Racecourse
Paul Nicholls, trainer of Denman confirmed on Wednesday night that he plans to run him at Newbury Racecourse in the Aon Chase on totesport Super Saturday on 13 February.
After Denman’s vintage win under top weight in the Hennessy Gold Cup, held at Newbury Racecourse in November, the Aon Chase in February had always been Nicholls preferred option for him, for his Cheltenham Gold Cup preparation.
